In 1978, Mr Ng Lee Yang came together with his son Mr Ng Tee Kang, liquidating all their assets to fund a traditional Chinese herbs trading start-up in the heart of Singapore's Chinatown. In the spirit of wanting to provide the local community with reliable medical supplies, they chose to import and distribute Chinese herbs. Wing Huat Loong was birthed and later incorporated in 1977.

As a way of giving back to the community, collectively the companies within WHL have been giving annually in support of medical, old age & special needs charity institutions in Singapore. This past year we are glad to support Public Free Clinic, Buddhist Lodge Welfare, NTU, ART:DIS and St. Andrew's Autism Ctr in their mission to serve the community.
